stepping into real family life doesn’t mean that you have to sacrifice your need for speed for a lesser sedan, not if Toyota Motorsport GmbH can help it. the Sports 650, a creation by Toyota motorsport arm, is exactly the ride that will keep your adrenalin pumping even when you are married and eventually, have kids of your own. based on the Lexus LS 460, this TMG-souped up version is fitted with a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol that develops 650PS (641 hp or 478 kW) and a massive, metal-twisting 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque, mated to an eight-speed high-torque-capacity gearbox that helps to propel this 2-ton beast from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in around 3.6 seconds and rocketing it to a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph). other key features include torsen differential, multilink with coil springs and Sachs dampers, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, huge 20-inch wheels (with option for wider front wheels for track application) and an aerodynamic that has been specially fine tuned using TMG’s cutting-edge wind tunnels. beyond those, details are scant but we expect more information to follow after its official appearance at the 45th Essen Motor Show that’s happening from December 01 to 09 2012. prices, as you might have expected, is yet to be announced. in the mean time, scroll down for a few more close up of this beauty (which is, without say, a huge consolation for those who are not as fortunate to be at Messe Essen at this present moment).
