If you have a thing for Coca-Cola, then you will want to hit up Disneyland’s newest attraction, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge because, it is only there that you can find specially designed Galactic Bottles for sodas like Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Sprite, and Dasani mineral water. OK, maybe the Dasani isn’t as impressive, but at it has got Dasani spelt out in alien typography, Aurebesh.
Obviously, the stars of the show are the sodas which comes bottled in spherical “orb” bottles. Orb may not the most stable of shapes to be a bottle, but it sure is cool to look at. Though it does reminds of one particular type of droid. Each specially designed spherical bottle further features a resealable cap that looks the top of some futuristic grenade, along with the brand names and graphics printed on scuffed, rusted labels in Aurebesh.
We imagine if Star Wars universe did have soft drinks, they will probably look like the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Galactic Bottles. The Galactic Bottles are the result of a collaborative effort between Walt Disney Imagineering and Lucasfilm Ltd, and took three years and dozens of prototypes before materializing into collector-worthy packaging. Coca-Cola is confident that fans of both Star Wars and Coca-Cola will love what they have came up with together.
Well, you know what? You bet your ass I do. Wait, it is not just me who is digging the Galactic Bottles, right? Galactic Bottles are exclusively at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland in Anaheim, California and starting August 29 at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
