You wouldn’t have know this if you aren’t a mega fan of Marvel Cinematic Universe, or MCU. Back when after Avengers: Infinity Wars hit the theaters, Disneyland released an Infinity Gauntlet Sipper at its parks and it was, not surprisingly, an instant sell out. Like, who doesn’t want to be the most powerful being (or in this case, one of the most powerful beings) in the universe, right? The sipper was snapped up as quickly as Thanos snapped his fingers that resulted in the universe’s population being cut by half. Obviously, this replica of Thanos’s infamous gauntlet won’t do anything sinister. On contrary, it is more purposeful: it holds beverage. This is TRON Lightcycle Power Run, a thrill ride available at Shanghai Disneyland Resort. What makes this roller coaster so special is the roller coaster car which, as the ride name suggests, is really motorcycle, the TRON Lightcycle from the rebooted sci-fi flick TRON: Legacy. What this means is, you are exposed as you were riding an actual motorcycle and the exhilaration is further boosted by the fact that the riders will have to lean forward on their chest, in a near-prone position and head forward. There’s even handle bars on each ‘bike’ for you to hold on to your dear life. Continue reading TRON Lightcycle Power Run: Roller Coaster Thrill In Motorbike Style

Fast forward 7 years and technology is available to allow a theme park based on James Cameron’s AVATAR to be created and it will be throwing its door open at Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort in summer 2017. That’s just a few months down the road! Continue reading Behind The Scene Of The Upcoming AVATAR-Themed Park At Disney
Arguably one of the most iconic structures in our lifetime, The Disney Castle finally gets immortalized in LEGO bricks. The LEGO 71040 The Disney Castle announced recently is made up of a whopping 4,080 pieces and comes with five delightful (or not, depending on your inclination) minifigs of equally iconic characters, including Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse and Tinker Bell. This plastic brick model is a replica of the Walt Disney World Resort Cinderella Castle (funny how Cinderella isn’t part of the minifig entourage) and boasts accessible castle rooms across multiple levels accessible from the back.
