Stranger Sings The Parody Musical

I am sure after learning that Alien: The Play and Terminator: The Musical were a thing, a Stranger Things musical will not be a surprise. But there’s no official Stranger Things musical. However, there’s the Stranger Sings: The Parody Musical which is kind of the same thing:

“Take a trip back to Hawkins, Indiana: 1983… when times were simpler, hair was bigger, and unsupervised children were getting snatched by inter-dimensional creatures.”

Stranger Sings The Parody Musical

The musical is described as “a hilarious ‘upside down’ take on the hit Netflix series” in all its campy 1980s glory. Expect the familiar characters like Mike, Eleven, Dustin, Lucas, and more, playing out the familiar storyline with a lot of singing and dancing. And yes, even the Demogorgon dances. Imagine that!

The entourage has had a nine-month run in NYC and for the benefit of others who cannot enjoy the show in person, Stranger Sings will stream for one night only for fans around the world. It is not free though. You will have to buy a ticket to the livestream on May 28, 2023. For more details, be sure to hit up strangersingsthemusical.com.
