Stray Dog: nobody cares Video Game
After being rescued as a pup, one remarkably capable stray repays the favor by gripping a sword in its jaw and setting out to save its captured master in Parry Frames Studio’s upcoming action game.

Video games that let you play as an animal are not new. There’s one where you’re smashing boats and breaching the surface as a shark to pick off puny humans, and then there’s one where you go on a rampage as a gun-toting squirrel. But none of them is on a mission to save its benefactor like the protagonist of this upcoming title from Chinese game studio Parry Frames Studio called Stray Dog: nobody cares.

And yes. That really is the official English title of the game. If you were to translate it literally from Chinese, it would not make any sense cos’ it literally means “a dog: the one at the roadside.” Anyhoo, the story goes that the protagonist, an unnamed stray dog, was rescued by a disgraced knight when it was a pup.

One day, its savior was framed when he tried to expose the dark secrets of the legion of which he was a part. The hero, a man who fought bravely for the legion for decades, got slandered and branded as an enemy of the legion. And then, the knight was captured, and his fur pal and loyal companion is not about to let anyone take away its master.

So, it, wait for it, sets out on a quest to rescue its master. Obviously, a dog on a journey to save its savior wouldn’t make such a compelling story. I mean, it does, but the plot gets crazier because it not only knows how to fight, but it also grips a frayed sword within its jaw, ready to get rid of anyone or anything that stands in its way.

Then again, if you have already seen how a squirrel can handle a handgun and chase after people, a canine (which looks more like a wolf) wielding a sword shouldn’t come as a shocker.

The game mechanics feature stealth kills, custom levels, precise parries, and brutal boss fights.

The studio has just dropped the announcement trailer, which you can find below. From what we can see, the graphics look pretty high-grade. That, plus a proper plot, guarantees that it will not be a game with a hide-a-bone side quest. The exact date when the game will drop is unclear. However, if your interest is piqued, you may consider adding Stray Dog: nobody cares to your Steam wishlist.
