If you’ve ever thought, “I wish my WRX had more Nürburgring and less grocery-getting,” Subaru has heard you loud and clear. Enter the S210 STI, a 500-unit, Japan-only love letter to high-performance driving, built with race-proven tech straight from the 24 Hours of Nürburgring.

Under the hood, Subaru took the WRX S4’s 2.4-liter FA24 turbocharged boxer engine and gave it an overhaul—new air intakes, a low-resistance exhaust with a cannonball-shaped chamber, and a specially tuned ECU. The result? 300 hp (221 kW) at 5,700 rpm and 375 Nm (276 lb-ft) of torque from 2,000-5,600 rpm. And for the first time in an S-series car, Subaru’s Performance Transmission makes an appearance, dialed in for sharper shifts and better response.
It’s not just about power, though. The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires (255/35R19), Brembo 6-pot front brakes, electronic control dampers, and newly developed rear stabilizer bushes ensure the S210 can handle its newfound aggression. Aero upgrades include an STI Dry Carbon Rear Spoiler and a Side Garnish, keeping airflow tidy while making sure everyone knows this isn’t a regular WRX.
Inside, Recaro 8-way power seats with carbon backrests hold you in place, surrounded by a black and red-trimmed interior designed for full-throttle focus. A serial number plate reminds you that you’re one of the lucky 500.
Sales details [JP] arrive in spring 2025, but expect it to sell out faster than a WRX on a rally stage.
