The “WRX S4” represents Subaru’s AWD performance with enhanced power, stability, quietness, and ride comfort. The model is known for its outstanding driving performance and practicality as a 4-door sedan. If you are a fan, you’ll be glad to know there is a new improved WRX S4, well, at least there is in Japan.

In the latest upgrades, the car now features the next-generation EyeSight with a wide-angle single-lens camera in addition to the stereo camera. New safety enhancements include a 3D view display that synthesizes images from four cameras for a 360° view and an AUTO mode displaying front and top views automatically at speeds below 15 km/h to reduce blind spots.
Furthermore, a large rear spoiler is introduced as a manufacturer-installed option for the “STI Sport R EX,” enhancing the car’s performance-oriented design and fueling driver expectations. The other trim is the GT-H EX, by the way. Both the STI Sport R EX and GT-H EX are powered by a 2.4L DOHC 16-valve Dual AVCS Direct Injection Turbo “DIT” flat-four engine producing 271 horsepower and 375 Nm (203 lb-ft) of torque.

Key improvements for the new 2024 WRX S4 include the integration of the new-generation EyeSight with a wide-angle single-lens camera, the addition of new features to the digital multi-view monitor, the option of a large rear spoiler for the “STI Sport R EX,” the inclusion of a Harman Kardon sound system as standard for the “STI Sport R EX,” the addition of remote air conditioning functionality to SUBARU STARLINK, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay, and the display of Apple CarPlay map app information on the 12.3-inch full LCD meter.
