Sublue is a Chinese company specializing in recreational underwater equipment and the Sublue Whiteshark MixPro Underwater Scooter is the brand’s latest offering. It is a full-feature personal underwater transport, but it has a sticker that will give its competitors a run for their money.
Sublue Whiteshark MixPro Underwater Scooter is powered by dual electric thrusters that offers up to 1.8 m/s (4 mph) and features a removable floater that, when removed, allows scuba diving enthusiasts to explore depths of up to 40 meters (161′).
It comes with a removable and replaceable battery that provides up to 60 minutes per 2-hour charging. A few other highlights include built-in camera/smartphone mount, 2-speed, LED indicator with low battery alert, and dual trigger system that requires both trigger to be depressed for propulsion to prevent accidental thrust.
Sublue Whiteshark MixPro Underwater Scooter is available for as low as $399 on Kickstarter. The campaign is, not surprisingly, funded and if all goes as planned, should see delivery as soon as June 2020.
However, if you really want one, you have act fast because the low pricing on Kickstarter will end in around 4 days time.
