whether a droptop version of the Top Gear Car of the Year 2012 will be a reality, very much depends on the reception when the Toyota FT-86 Open Concept makes its appearance at the next week’s Geneva Auto Show. maintaining its 2+2 seating configuration, the FT86 Open shares the exact external dimensions of the much celebrated GT86 coupe, but now earned a multi-layered fabric roof (possibly electrically-operated) with a glass rear screen for those who dig the idea of catching the wind in their hair. the roof is said to fold down behind the fixed rear seats “with minimal impact on the luggage space.”
