TCL 32X3A gaming monitor with ultra-wide Bang and Olufsen speaker stand and 31.5-inch 4K OLED display
The TCL 32X3A stands out with a 31.5-inch 4K 240 Hz OLED panel and a striking extra-wide base that houses Bang & Olufsen-tuned speakers, delivering front-facing audio rarely seen on gaming monitors.

If you are tired of generic-looking gaming monitors, then perhaps we may interest you with TCL’s new offering, the TCL 32X3A. Where most monitors strive to have a stand that is as unobtrusive as possible, the TCL 32X3A goes wide. Like, really, really wide. The display maker, better known for its TVs, makes no apologies about that super-wide stand because it is what it is—with a purpose. It is home to Bang & Olufsen-tuned speakers.

That’s right, my friends, the 32X3A has Audio by Bang & Olufsen, which explains why the stand oozes with B&O vibes. Sound is pumped directly at the user from the front, as opposed to the downward-firing speakers found on conventional monitors. Audio is further bolstered by pro-grade DSP tuned by none other than B&O.

The monitor is also notable for its ultra-thin 31.5-inch 4K OLED panel, measuring as thin as 6.4 mm, which is made possible by TCL CSOT’s next-generation Inkjet-Printed OLED (IJP OLED) technology. This display tech is also said to afford sharper pixel alignment and better uniformity across the screen. The display boasts a native 240 Hz refresh rate at 4K, but it can be boosted to 480 Hz when running at lower resolutions. Response time is pretty wild too, coming in at 0.03 ms grayscale.

The display also touts 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and it also has 99% sRGB covered, so it is not just great for gaming. It is good for creative work too, though at 140 ppi, it may not be the apple of the eye of all creatives.

But hey, with OLED+, it boasts true black fields that offer deeper blacks for a clearer image. It features TCL’s Perfect Black for, well, perfect black and infinite contrast. And then there’s the Matrix-Pure ultra-clear matrix pixels, pixel-level individually lit pixels, DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400, and 1,300 nits peak brightness.

The monitor also touts TCL Care for eye protection, and a trio of assurances, including smart display protection, a brand-new industrial design that reduces damage caused by high temperatures, and no less than 16,000 hours of testing.

Specs aside, the clean, minimalistic, and pretty much squared-off design makes it worthy of any modern setup, including Mac.

I/O-wise, it has DisplayPort 2.1, dual HDMI 2.1, USB-C featuring 90W PD, dual USB-A ports, and a single USB-B (yes, really). There’s also a 3.5 mm headphone jack. However, accessing these ports will be somewhat awkward, as all of them are lined up behind the display. I don’t believe there’s rotation of any kind, but it does offer angle adjustment from −5° to 15°.

The TCL 32X3A Gaming Monitor has been launched in China for 6,666 yuan [CH]* (about 964 USD). TCL has released gaming-focused displays before, but the 32X3A is its most premium and design-forward entry to date.
