Well, if you are wary of committing to one because you are not sure how it sizes up in real life, then the opportunity has arisen for you to see it in person before pulling out your black card for a unit.
The Little Car Company has launched a display for its scaled-down Ferrari Testa Rossa J at Harrods, offering a close-up view of this unique model. This exhibit, located in the store’s Technology Hall, showcases the car in a special Blu Nart and Bianco Cervino livery, featuring a classic Ferrari red exterior and a beige leather interior. Visitors can also explore customization options for the Testa Rossa J.
Limited to 299 units, each car is handcrafted based on original Ferrari drawings and offers a range of personalization choices, including historic liveries and a variety of bodywork colors. For those who are not familiar with this awesome little ride, here’s a recap:
The construction of the Testa Rossa J is a meticulous process that mirrors the original car’s methods, featuring a hand-formed aluminum body. Its steering and suspension systems are also carefully replicated to match the original design. The steering wheel, a significant component, is provided by Nardi, the original creator.
Modern elements are subtly integrated into the Testa Rossa J. It includes pedals from the F8 Tributo and Pirelli tires mounted on custom-made 12-inch wire wheels. The interior is equally thoughtfully designed, with the dashboard housing modified instruments.
These include dials for battery temperature and charge level, crucial for monitoring driving conditions. Additionally, a Manettino, inspired by the Ferrari 812 Superfast, is fitted in the cockpit, offering the driver various driving modes to enhance the driving experience.
