Towering at an impressive 33 cm (13 inches) tall including the dorsal fins, and stretching an astounding 53 cm (21 inches or 1’ 7”) long, this super cool collectible figure is based on the radioactive creature as seen in Godzilla -1.0 and boasts screen-accurate features such as a rocky skin texture and sharply rugged dorsal fins.
The dorsal and caudal fins on this limited-edition Shonen Ric Exclusive [JP] version are molded from transparent material to recreate the glowing pale blue aura witnessed after Godzilla unleashed the heat ray. The package includes the fixed-posed Godzilla -1.0 figure, along with a base for support and a manual. As before, the material used to create this masterpiece is PVC.
The books for the Toho 30 cm Series Godzilla (2023) Vinyl Figure are open from March 14 through to April 01, 2024, Japan time. But the figure was sold out even before the books closed. Fret not, though. Shonen Ric will open pre-orders for a second production at a later date, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled on the Shonen Ric website.
The Toho 30 cm Series Godzilla (2023) Vinyl Figure sells for 33,000 yen [JP] (about 219 USD) with tax in Japan and 30,000 yen (199 USD) in the U.S.
Delivery for the first batch of pre-orders is expected to be in June 2024.
