This is the Tomica EVA RT Unit 1 Z34 Toy Car. It is the second collaboration die-cast car between Evangelion Racing and Tomica following last year’s Tomica EVA RT Unit 1 GR Supra.
Unlike the GR Supra, Tomica decided to go with the flat, non-flaky color on the body and headlights. When I first lay eyes on the product images, I was not impressed but over the days, it starts to grow on me.
Anyways, the collectible toy car is finished in EVA Unit-01 purple and decorated with a racing livery that is reminiscent of the real-life race car from Evangelion Racing.
Like almost all Tomica’s die-cast toy cars, the Tomica EVA RT Unit 1 Z34 features opening doors as standard.
The Tomica EVA RT Unit 1 Z34 toy car is scheduled to drop in September 2022 for 1,000 yen (about US$7.35).
