Hasbro is hooked selling fans of Transformers repainted Transformers toys. The latest to get the redeco, as collectors call it, is the Goldbug. The Transformers Generations Shattered Glass Collection Autobot Goldbug & IDW Shattered Glass – Goldbug, as it is officially called, is available to order for anyone who’s interested.
TBH. It is a transforming action figure for the completionist and/or collectors of Shattered Glass collection. And oh, yeah, it is totally a redeco of Transformers Earthrise Cliffjumper.
As the product name suggests, Transformers Generations Shattered Glass Collection Autobot Goldbug & IDW Shattered Glass – Goldbug is based on the vicious Autobot warrior from the Shattered Glass universe – complete with purple (read: evil) Autobot logo.
It converts to car mode in 22 steps and comes with 5 accessories, including Cliffjumper’s signature bazooka. Each figure comes with the fourth of a 5-issue IDS Shattered Glass miniseries as well as a Hasbro Pulse exclusive variant cover. Dang it. Hasbro really knows how to tickle collectors’ heart, don’t they?
