Transformers Power of the Primes Titan Class Predaking

Transformers toys will help you see inflation. Case in point: the Transformers Power of the Primes Titan Class Predaking. It was released in 2018 for US$159.99. It recently had a reissue, and guess how much it is 7 years on in 2025? US$229.99. If anyone’s doing the math, that is a whopping 43.75% increase!

But hey, better to hand over the money to Hasbro than the scalpers in the open market, right? Wait. God damn it. It is sold out on Hasbropulse.com. That’s OK. I am pretty sure you can still pre-order it from other major toy retailers, or just wait for it to hit the shelves sometime in April 2026.

So, yes, the mighty Transformers Power of the Primes Titan Class Predaking is seeing a reissue, which should cool down the open-market price a little. Though at US$230, it is hardly any cheaper. Well, at least you know it is new from the factory.

The Transformers Power of the Primes Titan Class Predaking includes 5 individual Voyager Class Predacon figures. They are Divebomb, Predacon Headstrong, Predacon Rampage, Razorclaw, and Torox. Each figure is approximately 17.5 cm (7 inches) tall and converts from robot to beast in 9–17 steps, and each figure further transforms into its combine mode to form a large Titan Class Predaking figure towering at 45 cm (18 inches) tall.

Like the original release, this big guy includes a special edition Prime Master figure as well as the Onyx Matrix accessory. The former can attach to the latter and be placed on Predaking’s chest. The set is complete with a poster depicting the powers of the Primes.

This reissue also means one thing for fans: there will not be a new Predaking combiner toy like Bruticus, Menasor, Devastator, and Superion. Perhaps Hasbro thinks the design of PotP Predaking is the peak? Or perhaps there aren’t enough fans to justify a new design? Or maybe it was what fans asked for? I guess we will never know.

The Transformers Power of the Primes Titan Class Predaking (Reissue) may be sold out on Hasbro, but you may still secure a copy from toy retailers like Big Bad Toy Store and Entertainment Earth.
