DemerBox has made a name in creating super dope-looking, nearly indestructible and waterproof Pelican case boombox. Vineyard Vines is NOT a vineyard. It is a lifestyle apparel brand (with vineyard lineage, no less) identified by its sweet smiling pink whale logo. The two brands have come together to introduce limited edition DemerBox waterproof speakers, featuring awesome custom vineyard vines patterns: patchwork and blue camo.
Beyond cosmetic tweaks, the Vineyard Vines x DemerBox Waterproof Speakers are pretty much the same DemerBox you come to know and love. This means you’d be expecting 2x 3-inch aluminum cone with rubber surround drivers offering 11 watts per channel, Class-D amplifier, Bluetooth connectivity with up to 100 feet (30 meters) range (line of sight, that is), a 3.5 mm audio jack for hooking up to non-Bluetooth devices, and a 2,600 mAh lithium-ion battery that affords an outstanding 50 hours of playtime in between charges.
The case is borrowed from a USA-made military spec Pelican 1300 which boasts features like 316 stainless steel fastening hardware, molded ABS grills, port cap and inner plate, a USA molded polypropylene construction, and more importantly, the speakers are 100 percent made in the U.S.A. Vineyard Vines is also offering the same patterns in its trucker hats, just in case you need to make a fashion statement when you are lugging around these limited edition speakers.
The Vineyard Vines x DemerBox Waterproof Speakers are available since November 28 at vineyardvines.com and in select stores in the U.S. for $399 a unit.
