Bluetooth speakers have become a norm that when we see another coming onto the market, it will, “yawns another one?” Not this time, though. Not the New SOUNDBOKS Bluetooth Speaker. At 66 x 43 x 32 centimeters (25.6 x 17 x 13 inches) and 34 lbs (15.4 kilograms), the New SOUNDBOKS is obviously not a slip-to-your-pocket-or-bag kind of portable Bluetooth speaker. It is mean to make house-shattering mobile party possible.
Aesthetically, it is not for everyone. Not going to lie though. The pro speaker-look straight out of a music concert, complete with pro speaker handles for easy moving around, really appeals to us. Hook up five wirelessly (which it can, btw) and you can get down to play Alan Walker at your favorite public venue or home.
New SOUNDBOKS boasts a pair of 10” woofers and a 1-inch compression driver tweeter, and together with Merus Audio eximo amp switching, a trio of 72 W RMS class D amplifiers and Advanced Bass DSP, promised to deliver out a loud 126 dB volume.
Other highlights include TeamUP wireless connectivity for connecting up to 5 SOUNDBOKS speakers, removable steel grill, a swappable battery that provides up to 40 hours on a single charge and pro panel inputs comprising of 2x combo microphone/instrument (XLR, 1/4”) input, a 3.5 mm stereo input and a 3.5 mm stereo output.
The New SOUNDBOKS Bluetooth Speaker is supposedly available for pre-order for $999, but last checked, it appeared to have gone out-of-stock. However, if you are so incline, you can get yourself on the wait list.
