Volkswagen ID.EVERY1 Electric Car

Just when I thought the ID.7 and ID.2all were the end of VW’s EV push, here comes another one. Meet the Volkswagen ID.EVERY1, an entry-level electric model that seemingly oozes with the Polo’s spirit. The German marque has just offered a first glimpse of the €20,000 (~21,610 USD) electric VW destined for the EU market.

Built on VW’s front-wheel-drive MEB platform, the ID.EVERY1 packs a 70 kW (95 PS) electric motor and a range of at least 250 km (155 miles). It’s zippy enough for city life, with a top speed of 130 km/h (80 mph), and its 3,880 mm (12.7 feet) length places it between the now-retired up! and the Polo. Inside, you get seating for four and 305 litres of luggage space—practical enough for daily errands or a weekend escape.

VW isn’t skimping on the tech either. A powerful new software architecture allows for continuous updates, meaning this car can evolve over time. Other highlights include a sporty yet friendly design with dynamic front lights and a “smiling” rear—because cars with personality are a thing these days.

With the ID.2all arriving in 2026 at around €25,000 (~27,010 USD), Volkswagen is set to offer a full lineup of accessible EVs for European drivers. The ID.EVERY1 is part of the brand’s larger push to dominate the electric market, proving that the future of mobility isn’t just premium—it’s for everyone.
