X-Plus 1/35 Jurassic Park Tyrannosaurus Rex Plastic Model Kit

The Jurassic Park T-Rex plastic model kit that we had a sneak peek at is now official! Shonen Ric posted some images of what it would look like painted and also, now we know who the Tyrannosaurus Rex was stomping after; it’s Dr. Ian Malcolm!

Not only does the kit come with a figure of Dr. Malcolm; a figure of Donald Gennaro on the toilet will be included if you pre-order the kit from Shonen Ric, so you can have an alternate diorama setup. However, only part of the destroyed bathroom was presented with the Gennaro figure. If you need the rest of the wreckage, you will have to make it yourself.

The kit offers an incredible level of realism, from the texture of the T-rex skin to the dirt track and the electric fence. It surely is a kit that offers the next level of experience – especially in the area of paint applications – for veteran model kit builders.

When completed, the diorama of the iconic scene from Jurassic Park will be an impressive piece measuring 42 cm wide, 20 cm deep, and 18 cm tall (16.5 x 7.9 x 7.1 inches). Fake rain is not included.
