We did not feature the Xiaomi Civi 3 smartphone when it was released in May but now we have to – again – because Lotso is in the house! Continuing its celebration of Disney 100 Anniversary, Xiaomi introduced yet another Disney character-themed Civi 3 following the limited Mickey Mouse edition released in June. This time, it is the adorable yet super evil purple plushie from Toy Story 3, Lotso, that has taken over the back glass cover of the new Xiaomi Civi 3 smartphone.
The Xiaomi Civi 3 Disney 100 Anniversary Toy Story Lotso [CH] features a glass back cover with the “Godfather” of Toy Story 3, Lotso, against a backdrop of nano-grade line art pattern that is adorable not evil like the strawberry bear. Completing the Lotsa treatment is a gold frame, gold buttons, gold ring on the round camera module, and gold brandings of Xiaomi and Pixar.
Lotso’s presence is also felt in the UI, featuring incredibly adorable plush-style elements. Those are not it. Also included in this super collectible phone are a Lotso “ID card”, a Lotso SIM ejector, a Lotso sticker sheet, a Lotso-themed handset packaging and gift box, and a Lotso case with a Popsocket-like Lotsa plush head that magnetically attaches to the include Lotso-themed case that is of the same design as the phone’s back cover.
The Lotso head has a strawberry scent, btw. The case is complete with a lanyard loop and fluffy hand loop. Also included is a regular clear phone case. No Lotso charging brick is included, though.
As for specs, it is the same 6.55” AMOLED flexible curved display, a triple camera led by a 50 MP OIS camera, a dual front-facing camera (78° beauty camera + 100° ultra wide-angle), Dimensity 8200-Ultra SoC, and a 4,500 mah battery that supports 67W fast charging.
Like the Mickey Mouse celebratory phone, Lotso’s phone isn’t alone. Xiaomi also releases a bunch of Lotsa-themed lifestyle accessories and gadget accessories which include a suitcase, a backpack, a selfie stick with Bluetooth remote, a power bank, a mouse, a keyboard, et cetera.
The Xiaomi Civi 3 Disney 100 Anniversary Toy Story Lotso is a China-exclusive set that is being sold as we speak for 2,799 yuan [CH] (about US$395).
