Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is not the only device to celebrate the brand’s 10th anniversary. There is also the more affordable Redmi K30 ’Supreme Commemorative Edition’, aka Redmi K30 Ultra for the budget conscious.
The device is powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity range of mobile chip, the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ and comes outfitted with a glorious 6.67-inch 120 Hz FHD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) AMOLED display.
The display, which is a Samsung item, further touts 240 Hz touch sampling rate, up to 1,200 nit brightness, HDR10+ support, and more.
Redmi K30 Ultra has a 9-core Mali-G77 GPU for graphics duty, and up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB ROM.
Not surprisingly, imaging is a huge part of the device. For that, it gets quad-camera main snapper comprising of 64 MP Sony sensor-equipped camera, a 13 MP ultra wide-angle camera, a 5 MP tele-macro camera, and a 1.75 μm portrait camera. The main shooter is capable of 4K (at 30fps) videoing and 1080p slo-mo (up to 960fps).
As for the front, it gets a 20 MP AI beauty pop-up camera that does FHD videoing at 30fps and 720p slo-mo (at 120fps).
Rounding up the key spec sheet is 5G radio, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, Hi-Res Audio certified, IR blaster, GPS (L1+L5, Galileo: E1+E5a, GLONASS:G1, Beidou: B1|+B2a, QZSS: L1+L5,A-GPS), and a 4,500 mAh battery that supports QC4+ and PD charging. It comes with a 33W wired charger, btw.
Amazingly, all these features will only cost consumers in China 1,999-2,499 RMB (or about US$288-US$360 based on the current going rate).
