The wonderful, value-for-money Redmi Turbo 3 has just welcomed a successor, cleverly named the Redmi Turbo 4 (duh!). And like its predecessor, this phone aims to deliver top-tier specs without reducing you to eating instant noodles for the next month.

Under the hood, the Redmi Turbo 4 [CH] packs a beastly MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra chip. Sure, the name sounds like a futuristic kitchen appliance, but it churns out gaming performance like it was trained at an esports boot camp. To keep things cool during those intense sessions, Xiaomi equipped it with a 3D ice-sealed cold pump. Fancy name aside, it just means your thumbs stay sweat-free longer.
Speaking of screens, the 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision is basically eye candy on steroids. Colors pop, details shine, and even your blurry photos will somehow look artistic. Oh, did we mention that it has an alarming 3,200 nits peak brightness and a pretty cool 480 Hz touch sampling rate?
Battery life? You get a generous 6550mAh powerhouse, which charges to full in just 45 minutes thanks to 90W wired charging. That’s faster than a coffee break—assuming you’re not waiting in line behind someone ordering a complicated oat milk latte.
On the camera front, there’s a 50 MP main shooter and an 8 MP ultrawide, plus a 20 MP selfie cam to capture your best angles—or at least attempt to.

Other goodies include AI game latency prediction (because lag is evil), dust and water resistance (IP68, no less), and HyperOS 2 for smooth software operation.
In short, the Redmi Turbo 4 is proof you can go full throttle on performance without braking hard on your bank balance.
The new Redmi Turbo 4 has been launched for the China market in 4 RAM and ROM configurations: 12 + 256, 12 + 512, 16 + 256, and 16 + 512. So, nope. Still no 1 TB but anyway, storage is probably not the feature one is looking for when considering the Redmi Turbo series.
It is the features against the price which this little guy starts at just 1,999 yuan [CH], which works out to be around 279 USD according to the current going rate.
