“Advanced all-wheel-drive that handles rough terrains” are the kind of words you will find being used to describe a car but not in the case of this instance. In this instance, these words were applicable to this robotic lawn mower from 3 years ago. Even the profile looked more like a futuristic sports car than a lawn mower but yes, it really is a lawn mower.
The Husqvarna Automower 435X AWD Robot Lawn Mower was introduced into the market three years ago. We may be super late on this but hey, if it is still selling, it is still valid product news, ain’t it?
Anyhoo, armed with an all-wheel-drive system, this lawn mower is capable of climbing an astonishing 70-degree of incline. This means if you somehow have a yard full of steep ups and downs, and obstacles, the Husqvarna Automower 435X AWD Robot Lawn Mower is the perfect robot mower for the job.
It is designed for medium-sized lawns up to 0.9 acres and boasts a number of features that are considered high-tech even in 2022.
They include creating work areas and temporary stay-out zones right from the app, a pivoting rear body design for extreme maneuverability, integration with your smart home with Amazon Alexa and Google Home, built-in sensors for collision avoidance, Husqvarna Automower Intelligent Mapping technology, GPS-assist navigation, automatic passage handling, electric height adjustment – just to name a few.
It really is a feature-packed robot lawn mower but it does come with a hefty price of a cool US$4,799.99. Yup. Nearly 5 grand for a mower. But before you jumped on it, you may want to check out the reviews. Spoiler alert. It is not great.
Then you may ask why am I talking about it. For the cool factor, obviously, plus as with any product, each person’s mileage may vary just like my experience with Pixel 7 (again spoiler alert, not great).
