I honestly do not know the demographics of our reader base, but I am pretty sure most folks hitting up our pages aren’t of the age to know about 1961’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s, starring Audrey Hepburn.

1/4 Scale Audrey Hepburn Statue DX Version

In case you do and you are a fan, X-Plus has just the collectibles for you. That’s right, the X-Plus, the Japanese toy maker most notable for monster figures and statues, now has a poly resin statue of Audrey Hepburn’s character, Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

I have been following Shonen Ric X-Plus for awhile now, but I never knew they could turn out actual beauties too. I mean, X-Plus is synonymous with kaiju like Godzilla and whatnot, is it not?

Anyhoo… the 1/4 Scale Audrey Hepburn Statue DX Version comes with a base featuring the city skyline embossed on the side and the entire statue with the circular base towers at 525 mm (20 inches) tall.

The base has a light up feature that, when activated, it will cycle through four colors: green, blue, purple, and peach (more like pink, really). DX stands for Deluxe Edition, btw – just in case anyone’s wondering.

The 1/4 Scale Audrey Hepburn Statue DX Version is currently on pre-order on Shonen Ric, limited to 500 pieces worldwide. Each limited edition Holly Golightly statue comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Reservation for the figure is only available between October 29, 1300 hours Japan time and November 30, 1700 hours Japan Time.

The price for each figure is 79,200 yen tax included (approximately US$760 based on today’s going rate). I love Audrey Hepburn. I have the motif by Phil Handsley from IKEA, but this one here is way out of reach.
