1:1 LEGO Ducati Panigale V4 R Model

When I first look at the image of the so-called “world’s first Ducati Panigale V4 R 1:1 model built with LEGO Technic bricks,” I was impressed at its realism. Alas, not the entire motorcycle was built with LEGO elements.

To be fair, LEGO did not explicitly say it was built entirely out of LEGO Technic bricks. Those sly marketers!

Anywho, to mark the availability of the LEGO Technic 42107 Ducati Panigale V4 R set, LEGO engages artist Riccardo Zangelmi – Italy’s only LEGO Certified Professional – to build the fairing and installed it on an actual Panigale V4 R.

While LEGO may be just be part of the real bike, it is no small feat either – taking the artist 400 hours to complete and without the help of software.
