You have seen the 18-meter tall Gundam walked and knelt, and possibly gotten the ticket to see it in person at the Gundam Factory Yokohama. Now, there is an official picture book too.
Entitled 18-Meter Dream, this 28-page hardcover literature published by Kadokawa Media Factory laid out the production process in both texts and graphics as well as thoughts, and dreams of making the life-size, moving Gundam a reality.
The book, which is penned by writer Ayumu Kamada, also contains a message from the original creator and director of Mobile Suit Gundam, Yoshiyuki Tomino.
The fact the book is in Japanese language is not the main stumbling block; the real hurdle is, it is available to the Japan market. Speaking of which, the 18-meter Dream (Official Gundam Factory Yokohama Picture Book) is available to order through Japan Post for 2,200 yen (about US$21).
