The 1:1 scale Gundam robot made history when it took a few steps and knelt down. Despite it being super slow, it was still quite an achievement and a sight to behold – if it was viewed 4x faster.
Anywho, as Gundam Factory Yokohama begin selling tickets for the factory tour starting on December 18, 2020, the company also revealed a slew of toys based on the 18-meter life-size replica of the iconic anime mecha.
Before we get into the toys part, Gundam Factory Yokohama has appointed an official travel agency for the tour, aptly called Gundam Factory Yokohama Original Tour.
The period of which it will open for the tour is between December 18, 2020 and March 31, 2021.
There is this Gundam Factory Yokohama x Nippon Travel Agency Plan with special package that will include the Gundam Factory Yokohama 1/144 RX-78F00 Gundam and dock plastic model kit with 1980s packaging.
This particular kit will not be for sale outside of the tour package. There is another “limited full package plan” set for December 19 and 20 that will also come with come with the said plastic model kit.
However, in both instances, customers will not get the kit until after April 2021. Well, you know how it is with toys manufacturing. We almost always have to wait for ages for the release. I guess it is no different for the Gundam Factory Yokohama exclusives.

The 18.7 cm (over 7 inches tall) Chogokin x Gundam Factory Yokohama RX-78F00 Gundam is the latest to join the Gundam Factory Yokohama exclusive toys and the priciest. It features extensive die cast components, light-up eyes and chest vents, and it will come with a host of accessories, including a Hyper Bazooka designed exclusively for this figure.
