seriously, we never thought the A-Class would look this sporty but the fact is, it just did and it certainly has us ogle with admiration. this latest iteration of Mercedes’ compact hatch turns out to be very sporty looking and will be available in a bandwidth of new generation gasoline engines with displacement of 1.6 and 2.0-liter, starting from the 115hp (90kW) in the A180 and 156hp (115kW) in the A200 through to the 211hp (155kW) A250. also in the order is the diesel engine lineup that includes the 109hp (80kW) / 250Nm A180 CDI, the A200 CDI with 136hp (100kW) / 300Nm on the tap, as well as the A220 CDI that delivers 170hp (125kW) and an impressive 350Nm of torque. this sportiest A-class yet, bears a passenger-friendly five-door configuration and will be offered in either the new six-speed manual transmission or the 7G-DCT dual-clutch automatic transmission. expect a host of safety features that are found on its larger siblings, such as radar-based COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST system, ATTENTION ASSIST, Brake HOLD function, Hill-Start Assist, Adaptive Highbeam Assist, Blind Spot Assist and Lane Keep Assist, Active Parking Assist, and among the many others. the 2013 Mercedes-Benz A-Class should be arriving at the dealers end of this year with pricing yet to be announced. hit past the jump for a gallery of this beautiful ride.
