the Chevy’s Corvette Stingray by itself is a ride that stands out from the crowd without the need to soup it up further. of course, you could crank it up a few notches up by going for the Hennessey Performance version, which will give you more horses and a more distinctive look, but will cost you pretty penny. however, if minor cosmetic tweaks are what all that’s matter to you, then American Car Craft might just have something for you and that ‘something’ is this 2014 C7 Corvette Stingray Shark Tooth Grille you see before you here. before we proceed, we have to be clear that we are divided on this. first, by the virtue of the Corvette’s namesake, it is a Stingray and adding a set of shark’s teeth, though looks menacing, does kind of put it in a serious identify crisis. a Stingray with shark teeth? sure it will turn heads, but with mix reactions.
on the other hand, if you look past Stingray and see it as a grille, it does looks pretty unique and adds an extra dose of ferociousness to the vehicle. but we don’t think it will go down too well with serious Corvette Stingray fanatics, or purists as some would call them. the Shark Tooth Grille is made from 304 stainless steel, cut using computer controlled industrial lasers and hand finished by skilled craftsmen, and is intended to fit all 2014 Corvette Stingrays. installation is simply “peel and stick” which the the automotive accessories outfit said will take around 45 minutes or so to do. however, such minor cosmetic does not cheap. it will run you back at $327.30, or $422.76 for a black power-coated version. unfortunately, stingray (the bottom-dwelling marine animal) does not have teeth, else it would make the perfect grille. keep going for a product video.
