While it may look decidedly retro, Honda Monkey 125 is a very modern two-wheeler with electronic fuel injection (PGM-FI) with automatic enrichment, fully transistorized ignition, LED headlight and taillight, digital instruments in 60s round housing, front inverted fork suspension, hydraulic disc brakes all round, and wet type multi-plate clutch with coil springs.

The only caveat is, it only sits one. But it will be light on your wallet – both in the initial investment and fuel consumption. It has a base price of $3,999 plus destination and $4,199 plus destination for ABS model and it does a pretty awesome 71 km per liter, or about 167 miles per US gallon.

Honda Japan recently added a new color, Pearl Shiny Black, to its line up of blue, red and yellow. Not if that will be landing in U.S. shores, though.
