This is the completely redesigned Apple Watch Series 7. Oh, you can’t tell that it has been redesigned? Well, allow us to help you see the changes. For starters, it now has a noticeable larger Always-On Retina display and very thin borders that measure just 1.7 mm – 40 percent smaller than those on Apple Watch Series 6.
If you see it in person, you would have noticed the new Apple Watch Series 7‘s display is brighter too, but brightness has never been a weakness for Apple’s wearable, has it? Never. Anyhoo, take a look at the screen and you will notice that the display is now curved to meet with the watch curvature, and that is super sleek and pretty damn cool.
Speaking of the screen, it is protected by a new, crack-resistant crystal that has refractive edges that makes the display and the body melt together seamlessly.
Other notables include water resistance to 50 meters (165′) plus IPX6 rated for dust resistance, the usual suite of health sensors, a new UI that takes advantage of the large display, and the same all-day 18-hour battery life that now benefits from 33 percent faster charging.
Available in 41 and 45 mm, the Apple Watch Series 7 is offered in five brand new aluminum case colors which include midnight, starlight, green, and a new blue and (PRODUCT)RED. In addition, there will be an Apple Watch Nike, and Apple Watch Hermès which will be available with exclusive new bands and watch faces.
