They are the flagship EOS R1 and EOS R5 Mark II mirrorless cameras. The EOS R1, designed for news and sports professionals, and the EOS R5 Mark II, tailored for hybrid professionals, offer unparalleled performance powered by the new Accelerated Capture imaging platform and Deep Learning technologies.
The Canon EOS R1 features a 24.2-megapixel sensor, a 40 fps silent electronic shutter, and an innovative Cross Type AF system, ensuring every moment is captured with precision. It also supports 6K video at 60 fps and 4K at 120 fps, making it perfect for capturing high-speed action.
Meanwhile, the EOS R5 Mark II, with its 45-megapixel sensor and 30 fps electronic shutter, excels in fast-paced scenarios. It offers 8K video at 60p and 4K at 120p, along with advanced image upscaling to 180 megapixels. If anyone’s down, the new Canon EOS RS Mark II will sell for US$4,299 body-only, or US$5,399 with the RF 24105 mm F4 L IS USM Lens when it becomes available this month (August).
