At this point, we’d be surprised fashion brands hasn’t already gotten into making and selling face mask. A Bathing Ape (BAPE) is no different. Wait. There is a slight difference. It is extravagant, price-wise.

We have seen quite a number of mask coming from non-mask making businesses, but this gotta be the most expensive. It is a regular’o mask, but with A Bathing Ape’s iconic shark print.

Nothing groundbreaking here, really. It is what you see: a mask. OK, may be the bit on the “tonal ear loops” sounds a little interesting, other than that, it is just a reusable/washable mask with a shell made of 95% polyester and 5% polyurethane, and a lining made of 90% polyester and 10% cotton.

Hand wash only. It is so simple (it’s a mask for the love of…) that BAPE did not even bother to detail much other what it is made of. Anywho, A Bathing Ape Shark Mask was a recent product that was sold out in stateside – notwithstanding its pretty high price of US$59. You can still find it being sold on BAPE official online retailer in Hong Kong for 399 HKD (about US$52).
