X-Wing Fighter’s pilots wear boots, but if given a choice, they probably would swoon over the adidas x Star Wars X-Wing Ultra Boosts – if it exists in the galaxy far, far away. Following a string of collabs with today’s pop culture icons like Game of Thrones and Dragon Ball Z, the Germany sportswear manufacturer is revisiting the collaboration with the sci-fi franchise, starting with the adidas x Star Wars X-Wing Ultra Boosts.
The adidas x Star Wars X-Wing Ultra Boosts is presented in the familiar orange and gray colorway of the X-Wing and graphics of the X-Wing in the manner of a blueprint of sort on the heel counter as well as the white Boost sole.
Other design touches include special insoles, Star Wars branding alongside adidas logo on the tongues, symbol of the Jedi Order on the lace hold, and most prominently, the famous phase “The Force Will Be With You, Always” emblazoned on the heel stripe of each kick.
No words on when the adidas x Star Wars X-Wing Ultra Boosts will hit the streets, but it is likely part of the effort to drum up the next Star Wars movie, The Rise Of Skywalker, that will be hitting the theaters in December 20 and so, it is safe to assume to will drop around that time. It is also likely not the only adidas Star Wars kicks we will see.
