Well, how did we managed to missed this? Oh, wait. Perhaps, we weren’t as big of a fan of dear’ol Barbie and her lifestyle? But if you are, we are sorry that you missed your chance at staying at Airbnb Barbie’s Malibu Dreamhouse.
Will Tony Stark’s residence in Malibu do? I am just kidding, Airbnb does not have that. Anywho, back in October 2019, Mattel teamed up with Airbnb to let “Barbie becomes an Airbnb host,” offering “the first-ever stay at her Malibu Dreamhouse.” Ken and the host herself, obviously, won’t be present.
The dreamhouse was offered for four guests for a one-time, two-night stay on October 23, 2019 at 11AM PDT and amazingly, it cost just 60 bucks a night. Plus taxes and fees, of course.
The Airbnb stay was part of the celebration of the iconic doll’s 60th anniversary in 2019. During the stay, guests were treated to a series of tailored activities. But most importantly, guests got to live the Barbie’s life.
The offer may be gone, but there’s no stopping those who missed out to snoop out the accommodation with the images posted here and on Airbnb.
