Airplane Window - Photo Frame by Airportag

Can’t get enough of aviation stuff? Well, the good thing is, you can still feel like in the air or on an airplane when staying grounded at home. In addition to an ejection seat turned office chair, a throne repurposed from an actual first-class seat, and a ceiling fan made out of a jet engine’s fan blades, there is a less expensive way to feel like you are in the air or an airline and that is the Airplane Window – Photo Frame by Airportag.

The Airplane Window – Photo Frame by Airportag is exactly what it says it is, a photo frame that mimicks the look of a passenger airliner’s windows. Granted, the Airplane Window – Photo Frame by Airportag is a lot smaller coming in at 8 inches by 10 inches (203 x 254 mm). There is a smaller version (4 by 6 inches/100 x 150 mm) if you are down. But to be honest, that wouldn’t be as convincing. Unless you are small like Smurfs and travel in a tiny aircraft.

Unfortunately, though, the shade cannot be closed. Dang it. It was so close to realism. So close! Also, while you can put any photo of your choice, I think the Airplane Window – Photo Frame by Airportag looks best with a breathtaking cloudscape taken on a flight – preferably with a cameo by the wing. Oh, it can be placed on the desk or hung on the wall. Again, for best effect, I think it should be on the wall but that’s just me.
