If you are impressed by a transforming LEGO Transformers Optimus Prime, then I believe your mind will be blown to know that there is a transforming G1 Megatron too. That’s right, that would be Megatron with Walther P38 handgun as its alt mode. The thing is, it is not an official LEGO product because a gun or anything that is a symbol of violence is taboo for LEGO; it is a LEGO MOC by Student Scissors, a LEGO enthusiast who has a thing for Transformers, Bionicle, Mecha, and all-thing sci-fi.
To design and create LEGO MOCs itself is a feat. But to design and create LEGO MOCs that can transform without part-forming is the next level of mind-blowing – even more so mind-blowing when it is designed and built by one person; not a team. In other words, Student Scissors is pure genius. Granted, his designs are not mega sets. The sets have enough pieces to allow to enable them to be recognizable in both their bot and alt modes.
