But the price is a fraction of the real car which commands over £2 million. The Amalgam Collection Gordon Murray Automotive T.50 has a limited run of just 199 pieces. Owners of the Gordon Murray Automotive T.50 will be thrilled to know that bespoke models are available exclusively through Gordon Murray Automotive. As expected of an Amalgam model, the 1:8 scale version is handcrafted with the finest quality materials, and modeled using CAD data provided by Gordon Murray Design.
All told, development of the model took over 3,500 hours and each model took more than 350 hours to build. Each model boasts thousands of precisely engineered parts, including castings, photo-etchings, and CNC-machined metal components. It is suffice to say it is as exquisite as the actual ride. The model, which measures over 54 cm/21 inches long, will make an impressive display piece for GMA owners.
