Here are a couple of images of the first component of the first-ever Transformers Masterpiece Combiner. Takara Tomy has taken to the recent Shizouka Hobby Show (which was canceled for 2021 due to the pandemic, btw) to show off the sample of the upcoming Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece MPG-01 Trainbot Shouki.
The sample of the first component of the first Masterpiece combiner is being displayed in the GeoColle corner of the TomyTech section at the exhibition. While there are no details that we don’t already know, it is nice to see photos of the actual product presented in both its robot and train modes.
Visitors are also treated to the first look at the product’s packaging which is an unusually longish box, hinting that MPG-01 will likely be presented in its train mode out-of-the-box.
The Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece MPG-01 Shouki is set to arrive sometime in late June for US$158.99. If you are interested, you may still pre-order it from Hasbro Pulse.
The Shizuoka Hobby Show is being held at Shizuoka, also known as the city of plastic model kits. The exhibition started on May 11 and will run through to Sunday, May 15, 2022.
