Amazfit GTR 2e and GTS 2e Smartwatches

Huami’s Amazfit is coming in fast and furious with new smartwatches. In the last few months, we have seen the launch of Amazfit GTR 2 and GTS 2, and the Amazfit GTS 2 mini, and now, the Amazfit GTR 2e and GTS 2e smartwatches. At the rate the company is dishing out smartwatches, there is really no good time to buy one.

Amazfit GTR 2e and GTS 2e Smartwatches

The duo of smartwatches, which was revealed at the on-going all-digital CES 2021, touts border-less edge-to-edge design, an aluminum alloy body, and vacuum coating for scratch- and wear-resistant screen.

The GTS 2e boasts a 1.65-inch HD AMOLED screen that is said to have clarity rivals that of the latest smartphones. It packs 341 ppi for clear and true-to-life image with vivid colors. The GTR 2e, on the other hand, has a 1.39-inch HD AMOLED display with 329 ppi.

Other key details include BioTracker 2 PPG optical sensor for 24-hour heart rate monitoring with warnings for anomaly, blood-oxygen saturation measurement, Personal Activity Intelligence (PAI) health assessment system, sleek quality monitoring, stress level monitoring, 90 built-in sport modes, and intelligent voice assistance.

Interestingly, voice assistance can be activated while offline, allowing you to do things like turning on sport modes or firing up the heart rate monitoring function using voice. As for battery life, the GTR 2e offers up to 24 days and the GTS 2e, up to 14 days.

The Amazfit GTR 2e and GTS 2e smartwatches are priced at US$139.99 a pop. Both devices are available now from amazfit.com (GTR 2e and GTS 2e) as well as Amazon.com (GTR 2e and GTS 2e).
