Fast forward to March 2021, the Chinese smartwatch maker introduces a Pro model that outdone its predecessor with a claimed of passing 15 military-grade tests, including three new endurance tests.

Aesthetically, the new Amazfit T-Rex Pro looks pretty much the same as the T-Rex, sporting an angular design with a metal-sprayed outer bezel and a 1.3-inch aways-on AMOLED display.

New to the new T-Rex are 10 ATM water resistance (100-meter or about 330 feet), blood-oxygen saturation sensor, four global navigation satellite systems, a barometric altimeter, and over 100 sports modes.

Moreover, the smart timepiece also boasts Firstbeat algorithm that promised to “take things to a new level when accessing specialized data” which include your maximum oxygen uptake, full recovery time and training load. Plus, there is an ExerSense algorithm that automatically recognizes eight sports modes and records all related data.

Befitting its outdoor adventure stature, the watch also lets you get in tune with nature with weather tracker, sunrise and sunset monitor, as well was current moon phase display.

And then there’s, of course, the BioTracker 2 PPG Bio-Tracking Optical Sensor for precise 24/7 heart-rate monitoring that will trigger an alert if anomaly occurs, and sleep quality monitoring.
