Good news, fans of Evangelion outside of Japan. Amazon is bringing the fourth and final film of the Evangelion tetralogy, Evangelion 3.0 + 1.01 to the rest of the world.
The Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 Thrice Upon a Time was screened in Japan in March and the updated version, Evangelion 3.0 + 1.01 Thrice Upon a Time, was released in June in Japan, and soon, it will be on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories. Well, what can I say? It is the best we have heard all day.
In addition, Amazon will also bring the three other films in the series, namely, Evangelion 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone, Evangelion: 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance, and Evangelion: 3.33 You Can (Not) Redo, to its video streaming platform.
Hmmm, it looks like Amazon is awakening to the competition, eh? I have been browsing Amazon Prime and never have I found anything more interesting than Netflix’s offerings other than some of its signature series.
Perhaps, Prime Video is getting about going head to head with its competitors? It is good news for consumers anyways.
