Do you like stout, specifically chocolate milk stout? Do you like Oreo cookies too? Well, we have good news for you if you love both, because Richmond, Virginia brewer, The Veil Brewing Co., has unveiled a new flavor of alcoholic beverage, called Hornswoggler Chocolate Milk Stout with Oreos, that marries both of your love. Yep. You heard right. It is indeed a holy (or unholy, depending on how you look at it) matrimony between two seemingly unrelated loves of man.
Ok, maybe Oreos are more of a kid thing, but… Anyways, according to the horse’s mouth, the brewer took “7% robust chocolate milk stout Hornswoggler and conditioned it on hundreds of pounds of Oreo cookies” to achieve this sold out beverage. The Veil Brewing Co. held an official unveiling and tasting event on January 24 where each guests with acquired taste were entitled to buy a 4-pack for 17 bucks plus tax. Apparently, this thing was a huge sell out. All 64 cases made was reportedly sold out in a matter of few hours last week.
Lucky for those who have a thing for exotic stout, The Scott’s Addition brewery has “a small amount” left on draft and so, if you want a taste of it, do find your way to 1301 Roseneath Road. If those run out, heaven knows how long you will have to wait to get your mouth on one cos’ there are no words when those packs will be filling the shelves again.
