Ever dream of hanging a laptop against your stomach and working standing? Well, now you can!

The tablet, called ROG Flow Z13-ACRNM RMT02, brings together the world of fashion, art, tech, Web3, and gaming. Also, it is not an Android tablet; it is a Windows tablet.

The ROG Flow Z13-ACRNM RMT02 is powered by an Intel Core i9-13900H processor, paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, and a backlit chiclet keyboard, which effectively makes it a tablet-sized laptop.

It features a beautifully intricate, custom-machined aluminum body paired with an ingeniously designed integrated carry system – a versatile strap, for easy lugging around – that effectively turned it into a bag itself.

In addition, it boasts rubber holds that are inset to provide grip in every orientation, while the corners are reinforced to protect it from bumps and drops.

The industrial look is not for everyone, TBH.

The avant-garde and futuristic design is penned by industrial designer and feature film concept artist Phil Saunders, who is better known for designing the iconic Iron Man suit.

The device is intentionally “raw” leaving the CNC path marks for the extra industrial vibe.

The device, as the name implies, is part of ROG’s 2023 Flow series. In addition to an integrated carry system and stabilized grips to aid use on the go, it also touts an integrated kickstand that allows the RMT02 to be used like a traditional laptop for gaming, creation, or content viewing.

The kickstand can also be used when the device is in portrait orientation too, making it the first Z13 that can be propped up in both orientations.

Another highlight of the device is a total thermal capacity of 80 W enabled by the ROG Intelligent Cooling System with a vapor chamber. The VC here is said to cover 50% of the mainboard.

Moreover, liquid-metal and arc-flow fans ensure 0 dB ambient cooling, keeping the device nice and cool without creating ding.

Other notables include a 16:10 aspect ratio 165 Hz ROG Nebula display, Corning Gorilla Glass DXC, a MUX Switch, NVIDIA Advanced Optimus, 32 GB LPDDR5 5200 MHz RAM, 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, a 5 MP IR front-facing camera, a 13 MP rear-facing camera, Thunderbolt 4, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, a Type-A port, a Type-C port, and microSD card slot, ROG XG Mobile Interface, a 3.5 mm combo audio jack, and 130 W fast charging.

The Flow Z13-ACRNM RMT02 is supplied with a custom Acryonym pounce designed to accommodate the power supply, power cables, and pen.

The ROG Flow Z13-ACRNM RMT02 when on sale on April 03 for US$2,499.99 but at the time of this post, it is sold out. But not all hope is lost because ASUS promised more is on the way. You may sign up to get notified via text message when it becomes available.
