Food is very much a lifestyle for some, which is why we do, at times, throw in a little news on the gastronomical happenings in the world around us. As for ourselves, we have this special affinity for burgers and the cold stuff called ice cream too. However, we never gotten around to do ice creams until today when we stumble upon this camouflage ice cream from Baskin-Robbins. Yes. You heard that right: camouflage ice cream. Man, it sure sounds like the perfect thing for us cos’ it brings together two our of loves: ice cream and camouflage. Who would have thought that’s even possible? I guess no one except for Baskin-Robbins. The camouflage ice cream, known as First Class Camouflage, is the new flavor of the month (November) introduced last week and is offered with matching camouflage waffle cone or bowl, or in a cup, if you prefer.
So how does camouflage tastes like? We have absolutely no idea cos’ we have never tried eating our trousers, but as far as Baskin-Robbins’ ice cream is concerned, it features chocolate, salty caramel (yummy!) and cake flavored ice creams, which combines to “make a flavor so delicious, you’ll never see it coming.” Well, we can’t be the judge until we have tried it, but for now, we will take BR’s words for it. If ice cream is not your kind of thing, there is also a sundae version too, which brings together hot fudge, caramel praline topping, chopped OREO cookie bits and real whipped light cream. The choice is yours. Not sure if this military-inspired ice cream will be reaching out to other Baskin-Robbins outside of the U.S., though.
While most people are obsessing over moustache this month, the Baskin-Robbins has the First Class Camouflage and Camouflage Waffle Cone as the Special Flavor of the Month which also celebrates the military community in the month November.
