the great outdoor can pretty merciless and it helps if you are well prepared to take on what the wilderness might have installed for you. then again, you wouldn’t want to trade-in your Bear Grylls-like agility by bogging yourself with a trailer of ‘essentials’. what you really need is something like the Bear Grylls Scout Essentials Kit for those just in case scenario. the kit is designed by the modern day adventurer himself, Bear Grylls for Gerber and includes a first aid kit, waterproof matches, LED Micro Torch light, Compact Scout knife, button compass (it helps if you have a map), Bear’s “Priorities of Survival” Guide (we hope that didn’t include feasting on your injured mate) and a polypropylene case with Bear’s signatory that doubles as a water capturing device to contain them all. though it may sounds like an outlandish statement on our part but we think this $43 survival/camping essentials kit is actually quite stylish (which of course, tickles our style senses – very much). speaking of which, how should i propose to my wife that i am going to acquire this? would ‘we have to be prepared for the rumored apocalypse’ helps? just saying…
