In some way, this product is very niche because, it is targeted at iPhone 12 users. Also, it requires a companion app to enable it to recognized your face as well as to control the device.
The need for an app has some serious implications. Like, for examples, you won’t be able to use it with popular video call apps such as Zoom, or even FaceTime.
It is, however, link directly to current popular social media platforms, including the likes of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. That could be a deal breaker for some.
We have reviewed one similar device, but that one does without the need for app. I guess it comes down to who do you trust in getting the job done and your budget.
The product features 360-degree of rotation and can support both landscape and portrait orientations. Finally, it is worthy to note that it is totally compatible with MagSafe Cases.
The device is powered by 3x AA cells which are not included. Not rechargeable battery.
