According to Monie.ka and James, founders of the super cool leather goods company Hardgraft, the Masterpiece iPhone Case is their “very first design” after 18 years. Now, I swear that in between, they must have made at least one other iPhone case. But I guess the Hardgraft Bear Hug iPhone Case doesn’t count.
Never mind, though, because the Hardgraft Masterpiece iPhone Case is an instant classic. Why? How do I explain? It’s just classy. Like many of Hardgraft’s products, the Masterpiece iPhone Case features the brand’s signature full-grain, vegetable-tanned Italian leather, stitched in its Italian workshop.
The case offers a snug fit to protect your otherwise naked iPhone. That’s right—it’s designed for a bare iPhone. If you already have a case, well, it won’t fit. But if you do have a case on, why would you need a pouch-like case for your phone? I see no reason.
Anyway, the case is lined with a soft layer for a suede-like touch, and the edges are hand-painted. Each case is stamped with “MADE IN ITALY” and the Hardgraft branding, along with the brand’s motto, and stitched with Hardgraft’s trademark red-white-red tab. It’s a stunning-looking case—very luxe, both in design and price.
