When was the last time an electric scooter turned heads? The last one that had us at Hello was a custom creation by DIY-er The Q, the D-Fly Dragonfly from way back, and the Stator. However, save for the Dark Knight-ish Stator, they are not what you’d call “sleek”. The Bo M, though? Now, that’s a different story. This electric skatescooter from Bo is a masterclass in design, looking more like a luxury concept vehicle than something meant for zipping through city streets.

With a minimalist, seamless Monocurve chassis, the Bo M is engineered to eliminate wobble and keep riders planted, making it as stable as it is stylish. The Safesteer system dynamically stabilizes the steering, ensuring control even on rough roads. It packs a powerful 38 Nm (28 lb-ft) motor with 1,200W peak power and a 672 Wh battery (which charges 0-100% in 4.5 hrs), delivering a range of up to 50 km (31 miles) and a top speed of 35 km/h (22 mph). Tested on hills up to 25 degrees, it’s got the torque to handle serious inclines.
Weatherproofing is another highlight, boasting an IP66 rating and an all-weather braking system. The regenerative rear brake adds energy back into the battery, while the front drum brake provides reliable stopping power. It also features 360° Halo lighting with 800-lumen headlights, ensuring high visibility.
Practicality is not an afterthought. The Lock and Load system provides secure hooks for cargo, while the Airdeck footpad, made from anti-vibration foam, enhances ride comfort. The Bo M isn’t just another electric scooter—it’s an elegant, high-performance urban vehicle.
Available in silver, the Bo M can be ordered online or at Lifty Electrics in Dublin for €2,990 (around US$3,220).
