Stator Self-balancing Electric Scooter

I will be honest with you. I am not a huge fan of electric scooter. Why? Aesthetically, the look has been copied hundred times over. Plus, this form of last mile transportation irks me much because, most riders ride rashly on pavements, putting pedestrians at risks. Then I saw the Stator Self-balancing Electric Scooter. My perception of electric scooter changed forever. I am sure it already did for you too. Stator is not just minimal; it is minimally beautiful.

It is the one ride you want to flaunt it, every single minute. It will make you want to go to your local convenience store several times a day for no reason, just so you can strut it in full public view. I am sold. At this point, the fact that it is driven by a rear wheel direct drive 3-phase brushless DC motor with a maximum power of 1,000W seems irrelevant. It does not matter it has a top speed of 25 mph and 20 miles range even though they are spec-wise awesome.

It suddenly dawn on me that the chunky tires and the low slung form kind of makes it look like the Batpod. That said, I am not surprised it will be the Dark Knight’s electric scooter of choice if he ever needs one (a Batscooter, perhaps?). While I am sold by the looks, I am also impressed that this last mile ride here can be kitted up to suit your needs.

It can be customized with a seat, utility racks (for when, you know, hitting up convenience store several times a day is not just a pretense), lights and even a phone charger. But really, I just dig the minimal look. I will not tarnish it with anything else, but that’s just me.

Stator will be hitting up Kickstarter to peddle this super cool electric scooter. Though it is known how much or when exactly it will be on the crowdfunding platform.
